Cindor is the Professional Training Center for the Goldsmithing and Watchmaking Industry.

Located in the center of Gondomar, CINDOR is the national reference center for training in the area of ​​goldsmithing and watchmaking.

Created to qualify professionals and preserve the traditional know-how of these sectors, excellence from technical education to innovation and contemporary design, o center has specialized workshops, cutting-edge technology and a strong connection to the industry, offering practical and certified training covering areas such as crimping, foundry, modeling, 3D prototyping, technical drawing, among others. It is a space that promotes the appreciation of Portuguese production and the continuity of the arts and crafts that define national goldsmithing.

CINDOR plays a fundamental role in the preservation and appreciation of filigree and other traditional arts of Gondomar, municipality recognized as one of the largest goldsmithing centers in Portugal. By training successive generations of skilled artisans, the center guarantees the continuity of ancestral techniques such as filigree in silver and gold, while introducing innovation and contemporary design into processes. Your actions strengthen the artisanal identity of Gondomar, promotes excellence and responds to national and international market demands, contributing to affirming the region as a reference in Portuguese goldsmithing.

Visits to CINDOR provide an insight into the behind-the-scenes of the training of new masters and the artisanal care that sustains one of the most traditional – and exporting – industries in Portugal.

The Visit to CINDOR is integrated into the Filigree Route, here you can hold filigree workshops, Pinching or crimping, an authentic and enriching experience for groups higher than 10 people, where each visitor has the possibility to try some goldsmithing techniques.
