Fapil creates practical solutions with environmental awareness

Fapil is a Portuguese family company with almost half a century of history, dedicated to the development and manufacture of domestic utensils that combine design, functionality and environmental awareness.

Founded in 1975, Fapil is a family company located in Malveira (Mafra Municipality, Lisboa) which has become a leader in the Portuguese market in the development, manufacturing and marketing of utility products for home hygiene and cleaning, tidying and organizing the home.

With a strong focus on innovation, the brand launched the Ocean range, which incorporates at least 20% of recycled marine plastic from fishing gear — and with the ambition of producing all its items with materials 100% recycled.

Furthermore, Fapil takes on a social and gender dimension in its framework: nearly 130 collaborators, more than half women, and a leadership where women occupy more than 50 % of leadership positions.
