Mobile Capital: another meeting dedicated to furniture in Lisbon

The 61st edition of Capital do Móvel is an event, as the name suggests, dedicated to furniture for enthusiasts and professionals in the sector and interior design, and the responsibility of the Paços de Ferreira Business Association. Since Paços de Ferreira is known as the “Mobile Capital” in Portugal, this event that takes place in Lisbon until 16, brings together manufacturers, designers and furniture industry experts.
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to explore product ranges, essentially contemporary furniture, as well as discovering some of the trends and innovations in interior design. The fair also offers some activities, and talks to provide an enriching experience for both professionals and the general public.
Suffa which produces Sofas is one of the brands present, just like the Petrus it's at Luis Neves, among many others in the Carlos Lopes Pavilion.
The Carlos Lopes Pavilion was designed to be the Pavilion of Portuguese Industries, em 1922 during the Rio de Janeiro International Exhibition, being built essentially with elements transported from Portugal to Brazil. After the exhibition it was dismantled and transferred to Portugal, being implemented in Lisbon since 1932 no Edward VII Park.
This year the 61st Capital of Furniture had the ambassador Nini Andrade Silva, one of the reference personalities in the sector and design, and also with the opening by the Minister of Economy, Dr. Pedro Reis.
