Founded in 1883, This Azorean factory keeps the centuries-old tradition of tea production alive, using artisanal and sustainable methods that date back to the 19th century. With a privileged location between stunning landscapes and lush tea plantations, the Fábrica de Chá Gorreana offers visitors a unique experience, where they can explore the tea production process, from harvesting the leaves to transforming them into delicious infusions.

Visitors can enjoy a Guided Tour of the Factory's facilities, framed in the model of and Industrial Tourism, and relax in the charming adjacent garden, whilst enjoying a fresh cup of locally produced tea. With more than a century of tradition and quality, Fábrica de Chá Gorreana is an unmissable destination for tea lovers and enthusiasts of Azorean culture, since Gorreana plantations cover an area of 32 hectares, where approximately 40 tons per year.
