From Tradition to Technology: a Journey of excellence in Carpentry

For JJ Teixeira, it all started with João Teixeira's passion for the art of working wood. Family man and connoisseur of carpentry and joinery, and entrepreneur by nature, created his own carpentry shop in 1977 in Vila Nova de Gaia, in a small workshop and without large resources.

The new generation of the family, brought the fresh air of the future to JJT, combining carpentry with engineering and architecture, design and art. Today it is a Tailormade Door Carpentry, Coatings, Flooring, Frames, Paneled, Cabinets, Wardrobes, Kitchens, Closets, and Decks.

His audacity and business vision brought successive achievements. Growth was progressive and the market reacted receptively to the quality of work. Today the carpentry of the future unites two universes in the present: tech and handmade and this is how a Smart Carpentry produces with care, quality and know-how, always with respect for the material and the planet.
