THE CHANGE – Design Museum is an icon of creativity and innovation in the city of Lisbon.
Founded in 2009 from Francisco Capelo's private design and fashion collection, recognized art collector, Mude occupies the building of the former Banco Nacional Ultramarino, which was recently requalified. The “Building on Display” reopened its doors, paving the way through more than 150 years of history of this block in downtown Pombaline.
Dedicated to all expressions of design, Mude currently has 15 collections of around 17 000 parts.
Beyond exhibition spaces, nos 8 floors of Museum there are areas of contemplation, lazer, education and leisure, like a library, the bookstore, the café and the restaurant.
