The Portugal Faz Bem Talks are back with the 2nd series of conversations dedicated to Production Made in Portugal. At this 31st Meeting Portugal Does Good, we will continue to explore the fundamental pillars of the project, covering Architecture and Environmental Design, Production and Sustainability, e Turismo Industrial. Our mission is to create a space for sharing and interconnection, where we will delve deeply into the roots of national Industry and Manufacturing.

Eager to share the stories that intrigue the hearts of those passionate about the culture of national production, whether they come from Portuguese lands or from across borders, we returned reinforced with energy supported by a partnership with the National Museum of Art Contemporary in the continuity of the curatorial work Portugal Faz Bem in the renewal of its Store, with the support of Millennium bcp Foundation, and extends to the promotion of new experiences and events.

At the 31st Portugal Faz Bem Meeting, free registration, we will bring to light another fascinating conversation, this time under the theme “Industry and Manuality: stories about the Tapestry, Portuguese stone and joinery”, and the speakers who will be present to share their entrepreneurial experiences are:

  • Emilia Ferreira, Director of the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC)
  • Diana Cunha, the founder and author of the Tapestry pieces of OFICINA 166;
  • Gisella Tortoriello, architect and co-author of the objects in Pedra da OLIVAH;
  • Renata Vieira and João Olaio, the minds and new entrepreneurs behind Mobiliário da OLAIO;

At this meeting, We invite you to watch and participate in the discovery of the mysteries behind Portuguese arts, the work and know-how of Tapestry, of Stone and Madeira, through the engaging stories of three Portuguese brands that combine artisanal tradition with innovative and contemporary approaches, told in the first person.

Involved in this conversation, we will also delve into the world of tourism, and the role that these themes play in the sector, uncovering new ways in which Portuguese Brands can transform visitors into messengers of their stories, ambassadors of its know-how and devoted admirers of its products.
