The story
He was born into the fourth generation of carpenters working solid wood like few others and with two very clear objectives: to achieve the perfect marriage between the knowledge of artisans and the creativity of new generations of designers, and to edit furniture based on strong sustainability principles.
And so it was! With the motto “For the good and true. For quality and truth”, Boa Safra is a sustainable design publisher for the home, which offers pieces by Portuguese designers, locally manufactured, with time and dedication producing home furniture, custom furniture and interior decoration pieces. Aesthetic simplicity, the good taste, the timeless design, the use of natural materials and finishes define the products published by Boa Safra.

“We are a truly specialist company in wood, the most sustainable material known to man, and we realized that it was extremely important to combine the know-how of several generations and all the knowledge of artisans, the necessities, to design and contemporary creativity”, explains Rui Rocha, Industrial Engineer and General Director of Boa Safra.

Sustainability is the drive of this brand 100% Portuguese governing all its practices from the choice of raw materials, going through the manufacturing process, until delivery of the final product.
Boa Safra products are designed from scratch to have the smallest possible ecological footprint., never neglecting, obviously, the quality. “The wood used comes from the European forest, the only forest that has positive reforestation rates, guaranteeing us at the same time high quality wood. The oils used in the finishes are created by us and 100% ecological, as well as paints, not compromising the environment or the health of the people who produce them, buy or live with them”, assures Rui Rocha.
