Lisbon Design Week's Mini Design Summit unveils circular stories of innovation and sustainability.

As curators of the participation of the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC) at the 2nd edition of Lisbon Design Week, We are finalizing the preparation the Mini Design Summit, a unique experience that highlights the interconnection between Design and the artistic and cultural expression of Portugal, through the participation of Loja Art, Books & Living no evento.
During 4 days, from 22 to 25 of May, o MNAC will highlight the importance of Design in several initiatives in an unmissable program, which will include Workshops, Masterclasses, Presentations and Talks.
The Mini Design Summit offers a diverse program focused on exploring different facets of Portuguese design, with the slogan “It’s all about Design!” with several initiatives that will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the diversity and creativity that have been part of the new concept of the renowned museum’s store for a few months now..
Programming Highlights
Within the scope of 15 workshops and presentations that will take place in this edition of Lisbon Design Week, where there will be no shortage of presentations from the Portugal Faz Bem platform itself, we highlight just to name the moments that follow, where even Digital Marketing will not be missed.
- Conversation with Mokki Design: Discover the story and creative process behind the lighting brand, Mokki Design furniture and objects.
- Masterclass by Slow: Discover the brand dedicated to natural products and the conscious slowing down of the world.
- Workshop from Reshape: Explore sustainable modular structures created by Corkbrick to create spaces and furniture.
- Presentation with Azulcer: Discover how Azulcer was discovered by one of the greatest Portuguese artists and traveled beyond borders with the production of more than 11000 tiles for a single masterpiece.
- Workshop from Feltrando: Be inspired by the innovation in the local tradition of Feltrando and its use of felt
- Workshop by Dam: Discover the story of two designers who go from designing their home to designing and producing sophisticated Portuguese pieces.
Already on Talk with Marco Gouveia We invite you to come and discover the journey of one of the gurus of Digital Marketing in Portugal told in the first person, and learn from some of your insights about Marketing Strategy, SEO and SMO and Artificial Intelligence.
And finally, on Saturday afternoon the museum invites you to two excellent Conversations with those responsible for other museums in the city, and institutional and private bodies, including the founder of the Lisbon Design Week event itself, to address topics that relate Design to Museums and Cities with the moderation of Director Emília Ferreira and Curator Joana Beirão.
Take part in this unique meeting about Design in general. The Mini Design Summit is a celebration of Portuguese design, where tradition meets innovation and creativity becomes an expression of national identity.
