Within the scope of the Tourism Week and the opening of the BTL with new name, Lisbon Tourism of Lisbon Travel Market, It is with enormous taste and enthusiasm that we announce the adhesion of the Municipality of Gondomar to our visits area, through a subscription that integrates experiences of Industrial Tourism and Art, also belonging to the recently created Dynamizer Industrial Tourism Rede of Tourism of Portugal. This partnership reinforces our commitment to highlight the richness of industry and contemporary knowledge with Portuguese legacy, that aims to collaborate in expanding their visibility with professionals and visitors interested in authentic experiences.
With this adherence, We start today the dissemination and mapping of various points of interest in Gondomar that we will release throughout the week, in a coordinated initiative directly with the municipality and organized on two distinct routes: Turismo Industrial and Route with art.
Turismo Industrial:
- Municipal Museum of Filigrana de Gondomar
A space dedicated to the tradition of the Filigran, where visitors can know the story, techniques and specimens of this thorough art, deeply rooted in local identity. - 6 Workshops adherent to the Filigran Route
Small goldsmithing studio that keeps the office of the Philigon alive, where visitors can watch the artisanal process and interact with the masters of goldsmiths. - CINDOR (Professional Training Center for Goldsmith and Watch)
Reference School in the training in goldsmith, that welcomes workshops for tourists, providing a practical experience in the art of the Filigran. - Mineiro Museum of S. Pedro da Cova
Space that preserves the memory of the region's mining industry, with exhibitions on the history of coal exploration and its impact on the community. - Topaz
Iconic brand of Portuguese goldsmith, to Topaz is internationally recognized for the quality and design of its pieces. The visit allows to know the backstage of the company's production and heritage.
Route with art:
- Júlio Resende Foundation
Space that houses the house-house and the collection of more than 2000 Works by painter Júlio Resende. Beyond visits, offers tiles workshops for groups, promoting immersive experience in Portuguese art. - Gondomar Multipurpose
One of the most emblematic works of architect Siza Vieira, This building can be explored through guided tours that reveal its history and architectural characteristics.
