The 2nd edition of the Artes Biennial & Crafts | Novo Design volta a Oeiras, between 26 , 29 September of 2024, bringing a vibrant celebration of the arts and crafts, and Portuguese contemporary design. Este evento coincide com o European Year of Skills, num ano em que Portugal é o País de Honra das Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art (Good).
With fresh and affordable programming, The biennial highlights the ancestral heritage and innovation in the sector, gathering masters artisans, designers and the general public to explore traditional techniques and future views. The diversity of experiences will inspire professionals, curious and enthusiasts, promoting dialogue between the past and the future of arts and crafts.
Before the biennial, There will be the Open Days Arts & Crafts | Novo Design, with many exciting news in 2024: This edition arrives in the Azores, and includes Arts Immersions & Crafts, where participants will be able to live authentic experiences of 2 to 6 days, starting with the Alentejo.
