Slow Soaps challenges us to live slowly and with intention
Created in 2020, Slow was born from the desire to slow down and get back to the essentials, through natural products that care for the body, of space and the planet.

There are brands that are born from an idea, and others from a moment. Slow is born from both. From an old desire to create natural products, but also of a very concrete time in which the world, unexpectedly, slowed down and showed us that maybe it was possible to live another way.
It was in that interval, between uncertainty and the rediscovery of time, that Maria do Carmo Espírito Santo shaped what would become Slow. The landscape I saw every day from my window, the possibility of planting lavender, and the awareness that the accelerated pace is not inevitable, were the starting point for a project that continues to grow today, keeping its essence intact.

From the beginning, Slow was thought of as more than a soap brand. It was thought of as an invitation. An invitation to live with more presence, simplify routines and seek balance, always with a deep respect for nature.
This principle is present in every detail. All products are developed from natural raw materials, like olive vegetable oils, coconut or castor and butters such as shea, mango or cocoa. To these are added richer oils, like grape seeds, avocado or hemp, creating balanced formulas that nourish and protect.
The aromas are born exclusively from essential oils, in an approach close to aromatherapy, where each fragrance has an intention. Lavender to calm, ginger to stimulate, green and fresh notes that evoke nature and lightness. Colors emerge from clays, roots, spices or minerals, giving each piece its own identity, without using artificial colors.
Everything is handcrafted, respecting processes that span generations — from mixing to molding, from cutting to stamping. There is a specific time at each stage, and this can be seen in the final result.

If soaps were the beginning, today the Slow universe has expanded. The brand also develops solid shampoos and conditioners, candles and other products that allow you to create true well-being rituals, both for the body and for space. Even so, There is something about soaps that continues to capture the eye, maybe because of its soft colors, almost like small landscapes, or the way they transform an everyday gesture into a sensorial moment.
The brand’s growth happened organically, almost natural. First came the tests, then validation from family and friends, and later the word of mouth that took the products to new homes. With time, new challenges and opportunities also emerged, such as the development of specific lines and the desire to reach new contexts, without ever losing the proximity that defines the brand.

Today, to Slow remains faithful to its initial purpose: create products that help you live better, with more awareness and less haste. Why, in the middle of the noise, perhaps true luxury lies in the simplest things.
