A new channel with stories that matter

The Conta Lá channel was born with the mission of giving voice to authentic stories and projects that make a difference, assuming itself as a digital platform dedicated to telling Portugal through people, of ideas and territory. It is in this context that the Intercidades, a regional late afternoon trip led by Rita Ferro Rodrigues, that connects studio and country in real time through a vast network of reporters on the move.

More than a talk show, o Intercidades proposes a close look at national daily life, crossing conversations, culture and current affairs. Just like a train that travels back and forth across the country, each broadcast makes symbolic stops in the different municipalities to publicize those who build the communities, covering topics such as language, reading, health, sustainability, agriculture, moda, social media, family, entrepreneurship, culture, design and traditions.

Presented by Rita Ferro Rodrigues, one of the most recognized communicators on Portuguese television, the format relies on a close approach, curious and human, creating a space that listens, values and unites Portugal at the end of each afternoon.

A lively setting that celebrates Portuguese design

The program's visual identity comes to life through a space curated by Portugal Faz Bem and co-authored by Conta Lá, who brought an eclectic range of 10 national brands, of the most segment premium to proposals of a more general nature, reflecting Portuguese authenticity and the growing appreciation of local know-how. About the scenographic base built by the production, Portugal Faz Bem integrated the moving parts that give identity to the environment: sofas, chairs, tables and benches, tapestries, decorative tiles and design objects that create a close and real visual narrative. More than a static environment, it is a live scenario that evolves over the weeks: as each brand is interviewed, leave your pieces in the studio, contributing to a constantly changing composition.

Among the elements present at the premiere, and in this first environment, the sofas of the Munna, the high chairs Addict, the tapestries of Oficina 166 and cork pieces from Blackcork, signed by designer Toni Grilo, alongside the wood of Woodcraft Gudila, of ceramics Azulcer, of the marbles of Olivah and a decorative vase of Liliana Silva. The styling details – like the necklaces Carla M. Jewelry and the boots Lobo Apparel – reinforce the presence of Portuguese brands at all levels of the scenario.

A weekly section to give a voice to Portuguese brands

Portugal Faz Bem's participation is not limited to the scenario. Every week, a brand that is part of the directory will be invited to an in-studio interview, where you can tell your story, Show your pieces and share your vision. After each participation, the objects remain in the scene, creating an ever-evolving visual narrative.

The debut was marked by interview with Joana Beirão, inaugurating a series of conversations that promise to reveal the talent, innovation and the human stories behind Portuguese brands.

More visibility, more opportunities

In a context where small and medium-sized brands face communication and positioning challenges, initiatives like this become essential. Television continues to be a powerful medium for amplifying voices and bringing audiences closer to creators, but the channel's strong digital presence – with live broadcast on the web and a recognizably online positioning – further expands the reach of shared stories. Intercidades thus asserts itself as a relevant platform to value national production, crossing the television format with the logic of a project 100% digital, allowing Portuguese brands to reach new audiences and extend their presence beyond studio broadcasting.

For Portugal It's Good, this new stage represents not only visibility, but also the achievement of its mission: show that Portugal is doing well, with quality, identity and purpose. By creating space for different brands to tell their stories, the project reinforces the importance of consuming local, support national talent and celebrate what is ours.

The television premiere thus marks the beginning of a new chapter, where each episode will give a voice and new opportunities for Portuguese brands to shine on national schedule. Stay tuned now for the Intercidadas program campaign | Conta Lá channel.
